Kolkata, Ta. Thursday, February 25, 2021

With the election dates approaching in West Bengal, tensions between the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the BJP are rising. In the midst of all this, BJP national president JP Nadda on Thursday inaugurated the Lakhs of Sonar Bangla in Kolkata. He then announced that suggestions from 20 million people in the state would be sought for the construction of Sonar Bangla. For this, 30,000 suggestion boxes will be installed in the state.

JP Nadda said that if the government is formed, Ayushman Bharat Yojana and PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi will be implemented in Bengal. Apart from that, the state will also be made corruption free. Kolkata police, on the other hand, refused to allow the BJP's Parivartan Yatra. The BJP had alleged that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's gesture was not allowed and claimed that the party would knock on the court door against her.

Launch of Lakhs of Sonar Bangla

BJP national president JP Nadda launched the 'Lokkho Sonar Bangla (Manifesto) Crowdsourcing Campaign' in Kolkata. State BJP president Dilip Ghosh and party national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya were also present on the occasion.
