- Quickly started work to clear the road

A video of a landslide on National Highway-58 in Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand has surfaced showing a mountain collapsing. The road near Caudial was closed due to the landslide.
The landslide occurred on NH-58 Rishikesh-Srinagar road in Tehri Garhwal district. District Disaster Management Officer Brijesh Bhatt said the road near Koudiala was closed due to the landslide. Work was quickly started to clear the road. It may be mentioned that the transport service can be resumed only if the debris on the road is removed and cleaned.
In Uttarakhand, on February 7, a glacier avalanche flooded the Rishiganga at Chamoli's Tapovan. Several people were killed in the crash and about 200 are still missing.
