Karnataka: We are proud of the country's Korona warriors - President Ramnath Kovind

President Ramnath Kovind on Sunday attended the 23rd Annual Convocation of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru as the Chief Guest. He conferred degrees on meritorious students. Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa was also present on the occasion.

Worked risking his life

"We are proud of our doctors and medical assistants," President Ramnath Kovid said during the event. Corona warriors risked their lives to face daunting challenges such as Corona virus infection. I am happy to know that Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences has trained 2 lakh health professionals including doctors, nurses and administration.

It is worth mentioning that Corona has been circulating in the country and the world for almost a year now. More than 18 million people have been infected with the corona virus in India. Also in the last 24 hours, 12,059 cases of corona have come up.
