A woman from Ahmedabad in Gujarat has protested by sending 150 condoms to Mumbai High Court Additional Judge Pushpa V Ganediwala. Justice Pushpa V Ganediwala recently came up with a controversial verdict in two cases involving sexual harassment.

In his judgment, Pushpa V Ganediwala said that touching the breast of a 12-year-old girl without taking off her top and holding the girl's hand and opening the chain of her pants is not a crime under Poxo. The verdict drew heavy criticism from across the country.

A woman named Devashree Trivedi from Ahmedabad sent 150 packets of condoms to her home and office address to protest the verdict. Devashree said, "Justice Pushpa believes that if the skin is not touched, it is not called sexual abuse. I have sent him a condom and told him that even using this does not touch the skin, what is it called?" Devashree has written a letter to Justice Pushpa protesting his verdict and demanding suspension of Justice Ganediwala.

The registry office of the Nagpur bench said no such packet has been received so far. According to Nagpur Bar Association lawyer Shrirang Bhandarkar, this is a case of contempt and action should be taken against the woman.
