Economic crisis on Congress, leaders appealed to raise funds

The Congress is facing more than one crisis after the change of power in the country since 2014. The country's oldest party is facing a new crisis and that is the economic crisis. The financially strapped Congress is now trying to raise party funds. The recent meeting of the All India Congress Committee was the main topic of discussion and It discussed raising funds for the party.

According to sources, the party's top leaders met leaders from Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Punjab, including all the ministers of the three states' governments. An English newspaper reported that all members were appealed to take up the responsibility of raising funds. The party's new headquarters in Delhi, which is being set up for the Congress, is also a matter of concern in terms of cost, as money is also needed for this.
