Dominica's PM became emotional after receiving the vaccine from India, unloading himself

The Prime Minister of the Dominican Republic, Roosevelt Scarit, has praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people of India after receiving the corona vaccine from India. India has sent 35,000 doses of the corona vaccine to the island nation. This could save the lives of half of the 72,000 population.

India has so far sent doses of corona vaccine to more than 15 countries. Earlier, corona vaccine made by India was sent to several neighboring countries. The 'Made in India' vaccine has now been sent to Barbados and Dominica under the Friendship Initiative. The Prime Minister of Dominica was so moved by the vaccine that he rushed to help with the vaccine.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar tweeted about this. "A sign of goodwill, an example of support," he wrote. Made in India vaccine reaches Dominica. India has delivered the indigenous vaccine to many countries, including Barbados, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Myanmar and Bangladesh.

In this regard, the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Motley, thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for delivering the vaccine. India on Sunday sent the first batch of Covishield vaccines to Barbados and Dominica as part of a vaccine-friendly initiative.
