Corona's new strain increases risk of infection, beware: Dr. Guleria

Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director, Delhi AIIMS, has once again warned the people to be cautious about Corona.

He says the fight against corona in the country is going to be tougher after a new strain of corona virus is detected. A new strain of corona virus can re-infect people who have already developed antibodies.

Experts have learned about the new form of corona in Amravati, Yavatmal, Aloka and Vidarbha in Maharashtra. However, further investigation is needed to see how dangerous it is. One of these experts, Dr Shashank Joshi, says the government is ready And new strains are being investigated. Transition has increased in some areas of the state but the death toll is low.

Dr. Guleria, meanwhile, says it is difficult to get herd immunity against corona. This is not practically possible in India.
