Canadian PM Trudeau stops speaking out against China, abstains from voting on Uighur Muslim genocide

Ottawa, Ta. 23. Tuesday, February, 2021

Canada's lower house, the House of Commons, voted to condemn China for the genocide of one million Uighur Muslims.

Surprisingly, Canada's PM Justin Trudeau and members of his cabinet were absent from the vote. It was clear that Justin Trudeau was afraid of China and wanted to annoy China.

This is the same Trudeau who has tampered with India's internal affairs by announcing his support for the peasant movement in India, but one more proof of his silence against China was seen by the world today.

In the House of Commons, however, the proposal was passed unanimously.266 members voted in favor of the proposal. Not a single member voted against the proposal. The proposal calls for the removal of China from the planning committee for the 2022 Winter Olympics.

In Canada, the lower house of parliament has the largest number of opposition members. Opposition Conservative leader Erin Tully said the vote was necessary to send a strong message to China.
