CAA does not apply in this state, the Chief Minister made a clear denial

Political controversy is brewing over the Citizenship Research Act (CAA) ahead of elections in Kerala. While Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken of implementing CAA in the country after the completion of Corona vaccination, the Kerala Chief Minister has categorically refused to implement it in his state.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan says CAA will not be implemented in Kerala. The opinion of the state government is clear. We are not in favor of implementing the CAA. Vijayan's statement came a day after Amit Shah's statement to implement the CAA.

The Left Democratic Front is making a trip to Kasaragod ahead of the Assembly elections in Kerala. Meanwhile, CPIM Kerala Secretary Vijayaraghavan was also present. Arriving to show the greenery of the visit, Chief Minister Vijay announced that CAA would not be implemented in the state.
