Businessman Anil Ambani's Reliance Capital defaulter for the 49th time

Anil Ambani and his companies are having the worst time. Anil Ambani's company Reliance Capital has once again failed to pay interest on non-convertible debentures.

The company was supposed to pay interest on February 21 but failed to do so. Anil Ambani's company has defaulted for the 49th time.

According to an English newspaper report, the company said in its December quarter results that the company was burdened with non-convertible debentures of Rs 14,000 crore.

Reliance Capital has not repaid 11 installments of loans from HHDFC and Axis Bank in the last one year. The two banks have borrowed Rs 524 crore and Rs 101 crore respectively.

Reliance Capital has a total debt of Rs 20,511 crore and the results for the last quarter showed a loss of Rs 4,018 crore.
