Jamsaut Musahari village in Danapur, near Patna, the capital of Bihar, is home to the daughter of Microsoft founder billionaire Bill Gates. In fact, 11-year-old Rani Kumari was loved by the Bill Gates couple who visited the village a decade ago today, calling her 'daughter-in-law'. The queen was one year old at the time. The queen smiled and expressed her grief that she wanted to study but could not study due to compulsion. In the same way most of the people in the village are also illiterate.

The queen knows nothing about her future and can't speak when asked anything just keeps laughing. The village has a government primary school and an anganwadi center for the new generation. Villagers said that on March 23, 2011, Bill Gates visited his village with his wife. At that time, he considered Rani Kumari as his daughter and also fell in love with her. He also talked about developing the village. But after his departure neither he nor his organization has ever visited the village and Rani is facing financial crisis with her family.

The queen was adopted

The Queen can't go to school but the Milinda Gates Foundation didn't take notice. Rani Kumari, who lives at Jamsaut in Danapur, is now 11 years old. Rani's mother Kunti Devi still remembers the day when the Gates couple hugged Rani and fell in love with their daughter.

In 2010, an agreement was reached between the Bill Gates Foundation and the Bihar government on health reform. Under the agreement, the Bill Gates couple visited the Jamsaut population of Danapur during their India tour and showered love on the queen.
