New delhi date. 11. Thursday, February 2021

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has again lashed out at the central government over an agreement reached between India and China to withdraw troops from Pangong Lake and surrounding areas in Ladakh.

On the one hand, while Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was briefing Parliament on the MoU, Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "Why is the government insulting the sacrifices made by our troops? No one knows what the situation is at the border at present. No, and in such circumstances, why is this government insulting the martyrdom of the soldiers who have been martyred in the clashes with China.

On the other hand, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the troops deployed at the primary posts on the north and south shores of Pangong Sarovar would retreat. After that there will be a dialogue between the two countries once again.

He also said that the Indian Army has bravely faced all the challenges and shown its bravery.
