Will Jammu and Kashmir get any big gift? An important meeting of the Union Cabinet will be held today

- Big package for Jammu and Kashmir likely to be discussed

New Delhi Dated 6th January 2021 Wednesday

An important meeting of the Union Cabinet is to be held today. The power lobby was talking about the possibility of a big gift to Jammu and Kashmir at this meeting.

The meeting, to be held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will discuss the issue of giving a special package to Jammu and Kashmir, informed sources said. Jammu and Kashmir is now a Union Territory. On August 5, 2019, Article 370, which gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir, was repealed. Jammu and Kashmir then became a Union Territory.

The Central Government was constantly trying to win the sentiments of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, 13 million people in Jammu and Kashmir were given health insurance worth Rs 5 lakh a year each. If there is any misunderstanding in the minds of the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the government or the country, the central government was constantly taking positive steps in an effort to remove it. The central government also wanted the state, i.e. now the Union Territory, to get a good investment and industries from outside to come here and set up their own units. Once the investment in this border state increases, the locals will also get bread for twelve months.

At the last meeting of the Union Cabinet, it was also hinted that a special package would be announced by the Center for Jammu and Kashmir. The package was likely to be announced at today's meeting, informed sources said. Experts believed that once the people of Jammu and Kashmir joined the mainstream of the country, pro-Pakistan terrorism would automatically be eradicated. That is why today's cabinet meeting is important.
