Vaccination will start in the country from January 16, 30 million people will be vaccinated

Vaccination will start in the country from January 16, 2021. Health workers and frontline workers will be vaccinated first. Its number will be about 3 crores. Co-morbid people over 50 and under 50 will then be vaccinated, numbering more than 270 million.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today convened a high-level meeting to review the preparations of the states and Union Territories for corona vaccination. The meeting was attended by many other officials besides the Cabinet Secretary and the Health Secretary. After this meeting the date of vaccination in the country was fixed.
