Trump did something that Biden would have had to do at the White House gate.

Washington, Ta. Sunday, January 24, 2021

Joe Biden, the US President-elect, arrived at the White House with his wife. After a long wait and hard work, they finally succeeded in making the White House their official home. Biden thanked his supporters by waving his hand as he climbed the stairs to the door but what happened next annoyed everyone. Biden and his wife were unable to enter the presidential palace despite their permission when they were a short distance from the White House.

The reason for waiting for the President and the First Lady

The door slammed shut as President Joe Biden and the First Lady stepped inside. His family also climbed the White House stairs, but the door was closed. Biden was annoyed at this. The most powerful president in the world has to wait. This condition persisted for some time. Joe and Jill stared at each other.

The door was finally opened from the inside after some time. They had to wait because former US President Donald Trump voluntarily fired the White House chief of staff five hours before he left. While former White House officials condemned Trump's actions.

The role of Chief Usher in the White House

However, the management of the White House is with Chief Usher. Timothy Harlath was President Trump's chief gatekeeper. Melania appointed Trump's former chief of staff in 2017. On the day of Biden's swearing-in, 4 hours before January 20, Timothy was told that he had been fired. Timothy's salary was લાખ 2 million. The post is not politically motivated, but the former president's wife, Melania, was biased in bringing a Trump hotel employee to the White House.

Condemned by the media house and former staff

Several American media houses have condemned the incident. Former President George W. Bush called White House Social Secretary Lee Berman a "violation of protocol." While one and the former Chief Usher said that if the President wakes up early and there is a long-awaited activity then Chief Usher has to do a long duty.

However, it was not immediately clear why the nine elected presidents and the first lady had to wait at the door.
