The Modi government is searching for the tomb of Dara Shikoh, the brother of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb

The search for the tomb of Dara Shikoh, the brother of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb, has been expedited by the Indian government.

The government has also set up a committee to look into the matter. On the other hand, Delhi Municipal Corporation engineer Sanjeev Kumar Singh has claimed that Dara Shikoh's tomb is located in Humayun's tomb in Delhi. Information is obtained from the name Alamgir and then claims that Dara Shikoh is buried under the dome in Humayun's tomb where Akbar's sons Daniel and Murad are buried.

According to Sanjeev Kumar, Alamgir Nama also mentions that the tomb of Dara Shikoh was in Humayun's tomb.

A team from the Ministry of Culture is scheduled to visit Humayun's tomb to verify Sanjeev Kumar Singh's claim.

Many other experts agree with Sanjeev Kumar Singh's prediction. Now it remains to be seen what the committee will come to a conclusion.
