New delhi date. Sunday, January 24, 2021

The Election Commission is preparing to give special gifts to the voters of the world's largest democracy. Voters across the country will receive the Electronic Electors Photo Identity App (e-Epic) on Voters' Day on January 25. With the help of which the election card can be kept in digital form.

In e-epic one has to follow a definite process and some rules. After that, just like the Aadhaar card, the election card will also be downloaded and become a part of the e-wallet. Voters will have to verify their complete information for the digital card. Like the bank's KYC, e-mail with mobile number will be mandatory.

As soon as the mobile number is registered in the Electoral Commission's voter list, you can get it by mail and a messaged phone by making an RG through the app. Which will have an OTP using which the card can be obtained.

It will have two QR codes, one containing the complete information of the voter and the other with the information related to the election to be held in his constituency. The commission will also have the option of hard copy and it will cost Rs 25. The digital system will save you from the hassle of losing a card and getting a new one. At the same time, the commission will also get relief from the delivery of the card.
