The Congress MLA at the Legislative Council meeting was enjoying porn on mobile, video viral

- Demand for resignation of Karnataka Congress MLA: This is against the dignity of the House, says BJP

Bangalore 30th January 2021 Saturday

During the ongoing Karnataka Legislative Council meeting, a scuffle broke out against a Congress MLA who was enjoying porn on his mobile phone. A video clip of the incident went viral on social media.

This video clip of Congress MLA Prakash Rathore caused a stir. The BJP had accused the Congress MLA of tarnishing the image of the Legislative Council. Prakash Rathore should resign as MLA.

A Kannada-speaking TV channel telecast a video clip of Prakash Rathore enjoying porn on a smart phone during the ongoing assembly session. With that, Chomer Ho Ha was horrified. The BJP had criticized Prakash Rathore and especially the Congress culture and submitted to the Speaker that the MLA should be forced to resign.

Prakash Rathore had claimed before the media that Question Hour was going on in the Legislative Council and I was checking the contents of which question to ask in my mobile. The allegations against me for watching porn were baseless and false. He also claimed that my phone's memory was full so I was deleting some files. The BJP had distorted such a very common thing. The Congress also appealed to the concerned TV channel to present the truth.

However, the BJP is not milk-washed. In 2012, three BJP ministers from Karnataka's ruling party were caught watching pornographic clips on their mobile phones during the ongoing assembly session. On that occasion, the BJP was humiliated. However, the three ministers resigned after the uproar. The incident, which was linked to then Co-operation Minister Laxman Sawadi, Women and Child Development Minister CC Patil and Science and Technology Minister Krishna Palmer, sparked controversy. At present, Laxman Sawadi is the Deputy Chief Minister and is literally fighting against Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray. He called for declaring Mumbai a Union Territory.

However, such a call was initiated by Uddhav Thackeray. He requested the Center to declare the Marathi-majority areas of Karnataka as Union Territories.
