A group of farmers who had stormed the Red Fort during a tractor march in Delhi hoisted a religious flag at the Red Fort and at the same time witnessed heavy vandalism in the Red Fort.

Hundreds of vehicles parked in the fort were damaged and furniture including AC was vandalized. Various tables involved in the Republic Day parade were also damaged.

Union Minister Prahlad Patel visited the Red Fort today to inquire about the damage. A meeting has also been convened by the Home Ministry on yesterday's incident and Home Minister Amit Shah is holding a meeting with senior officials.

The rioters also broke into various offices in the Red Fort yesterday and overturned the tables placed in them and also vandalized these offices. The people of the country are also shocked to see the scenes of vandalism in the Red Fort.
