PM Modi will meet all the state chief ministers today for vaccination against corona vaccine

The time the country has been waiting for is now approaching. Vaccination against the corona virus is set to begin in India on January 16. Preparations are underway in all the states for this.

Before the vaccination, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with the chief ministers of all the states on Monday to discuss the preparations. In which it will take an update on the ongoing vaccination preparations in all the states and formulate a strategy.

The Drug Controller General of India has approved the immediate use of two vaccines for corona virus in the country. These include Covishield of Serum Institute of India and Covacin of Bharat Biotech. The dry run of trials across the country has also come to an end. The vaccination campaign will involve 19 Union Ministries.

Uttar Pradesh

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has completed preparations for the vaccination of corona vaccine. Vaccination will be started from January 16 at 852 centers in UP. At the same time, about 1,500 centers with 3000 booths have also been identified. State Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh has informed that each center will have 25 employees. About 9 lakh healthcare workers in UP will be vaccinated.

Maharashtra

Maharashtra is the state in the country with the highest number of coronavirus cases. More than 16,000 volunteers have been trained for vaccination in the state. In Maharashtra, 4200 centers have been set up for vaccination against corona virus. There are also 3,145 cold chain centers. Nearly seven and a half lakh healthcare workers have registered for vaccination.

Delhi

Corona virus also spread very fast in Delhi. State Health Minister Satyendra Jain, while informing about the vaccination, said that in the first phase, 89 hospitals will be vaccinated. The vaccine will reach Delhi on Tuesday.

Gujarat

In the first phase of vaccination in Gujarat, 4.33 lakh health workers will be vaccinated. After which 3.47 lakh frontline workers of the state will be vaccinated. 17,128 people have been trained for vaccination in the state. The state has the capacity to keep doses of over one crore vaccines.

Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu has also been more susceptible to corona virus infection. Now, in the first phase, 6 lakh health care workers of the state will be vaccinated. For which 47,206 centers have been set up in the region. There will also be 51 walk-in centers in 38 districts of Tamil Nadu where 2.5 crore doses can be stored.
