People are suffering from inflation, Modi government is busy in tax collection: Rahul Gandhi

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has lashed out at the Modi government over the issue of inflation. He has targeted the Modi government through Twitter. He tweeted about rising prices of cooking gas and diesel-petrol and targeted the PM Modi-led NDA government.

Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter that Modiji has shown a tremendous growth in GDP i.e. gas-diesel-petrol prices. Rahul Gandhi has also shared a screenshot of a newspaper on Twitter comparing rising oil and gas prices.


The screenshot states that on July 1, 2020, the price of cooking gas in Jaipur was Rs 594.5 per cylinder while on January 7, 2021, the amount went up to Rs 698. In Jaipur, the price of diesel was Rs 81.32 per liter on July 1, 2020, but now it has gone up to Rs 83.64 per liter in January 2021. Regarding petrol prices, it is written that on July 1, 2020, the price of petrol was Rs 87.57 which on January 7, 2021 became Rs 91.63.

Rahul Gandhi has arrived here to campaign for the forthcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. He targeted the Modi government as soon as he reached Tamil Nadu on Saturday. He said that we will fight together against the Modi government. Apart from this, he said during a meeting with the people of MSMEs that the existing GST rules would be changed when the UPA government comes to power. The UPA is committed to this.
