- BJP's worst performance of Uttarakhand Chief Minister

New Delhi Dated 16th January 2021 Saturday

Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was declared the best Chief Minister of the country in terms of efficiency, according to a survey.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal came second and Andhra Pradesh's Jagan Mohan Reddy came third. Despite clashes with the BJP and violent incidents, Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal came fourth in her tenure as Chief Minister.

It may be recalled that the record for the longest tenure as Chief Minister also belongs to Naveen Patnaik of Orissa, who was voted by about 79 per cent (78.81) of the people in the poll. On the other hand, BJP-ruled Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat got only 0.41 per cent votes. In other words, Rawat is the worst administrator in the country.

The results were released in the IANS Sea-Water Stay of the Nation-2021 survey. In Orissa, 68.57 per cent people were happy with Patnaik's work. 20 percent were perfectly happy and ten percent were annoyed. Out of 77 per cent votes received by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, 57 per cent were very satisfied, 31 per cent were perfectly satisfied and 11 per cent were dissatisfied.

Jagan Mohan Reddy of the YSA Congress Party, who came in third, came third as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He got 66.83 per cent votes. Only 16 per cent of the people in the state were dissatisfied with his work. Everyone else was satisfied. Trivendra Singh Rawat, the main contributor to BJP-ruled Uttarakhand, was ranked 23rd. Only 26 per cent of the people in the state were satisfied with their work. 49 per cent people expressed their displeasure and unhappiness for Rawat in clear words. The rest said Rawat was fine. The other two chief ministers who got the worst rankings are from both Punjab and Haryana.

It may be noted here that most of the so-called farmers who have been agitating on the Delhi border for the last fifty days are also from Punjab and Haryana. Only 23 per cent people were happy with the work of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar while 22 per cent people in Punjab were happy with the work of Captain Amarinder Singh.
