Kochi-Mangalore Natural Gas Pipeline inaugurated


-Prime Minister called today an important day for Kerala-Karnataka

-450 km long pipeline was destroyed

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Kochi-Mangalore Natural Gas Pipeline via video conference. He said work was currently underway on the One Nation One gas grid. The pipeline will benefit both the states of Kerala and Karnataka. Today was a very important day for both these states. This pipeline will provide excellent accommodation to the people of both the states. The costs to the industry will be lower.

Chief Ministers of both Kerala and Karnataka were also present on the occasion. This pipeline is four hundred and fifty kilometers long. The Prime Minister said that when the pipeline was eaten, the workers got a daily bread of 12 lakh man-hours. Even after the pipeline is built, people in the employment sector will benefit. The whole world believes this. Today, Hindustan was focusing on digital, gas, highway connectivity, etc. Many districts in both the states will directly benefit from this pipeline. Pollution will be reduced and fuel costs of industries will be reduced.

He further said that the pipeline would benefit the economic system of both the states of Kerala and Karnataka. This pipeline is living proof that there can be a lot of benefits if we work together with development at the center. This pipeline is also important in terms of climate change.

The total cost of laying the pipeline was Rs 3,000 crore. The pipeline passes through Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Mallapuram, Kannur and Kasaragod districts. All these districts will directly benefit from this pipeline. This pipeline will provide natural gas to industries and factories and will reduce air pollution. This pipeline has been constructed by GAIL. The pipeline will directly benefit the CNG and PNG sectors.
