Khalistanis responsible for tractor parade violence: Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu

Punjab Congress MP Ravneet Singh Bittu says the Khalistanis are behind the Republic Day violence. He said that Khalistani supporters and Sikh for Justice organizations were behind the peasant movement.

Ravneet Singh Bittu has been an MP from Ludhiana. There was also a scuffle with Bittu in the peasant movement. The day before, he said he had gone to attend a meeting convened by farmer leaders. On reaching there, some people attacked him with sticks and weapons.

He further said that what happened in Delhi was planned only three days ago. He said by name that Deep Sidhu was behind the conspiracy. At night his men seized the farmer's tractor.

It is to be mentioned that such allegations have been leveled against the peasant movement even before this. It was also said by some BJP leaders that some Khalistan supporters have also joined the farmers' movement.
