Kamal Hassan's promise, my government will pay the housewives who take care of the house every month

Actor-turned-leader Kamal Haasan has formed a party called Makkal Nidhi Maiyam, or MNM. Kamal Haasan is all set to contest the next Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

The election promises made by Kamal Haasan to the people are being discussed and one of these promises has probably not been made to the people by any political party so far. Kamal Haasan said, "If my party wins the elections, housewives will be paid every month." .

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has also lauded Kamal Haasan's promise. Kamal Haasan has also started campaigning for his party. The party says that women will be empowered through education, employment and industry. The party will pay the housewives a monthly salary if they do not pay attention to the work they do at home.

"People are fed up with both the parties and want change. The love people are getting for my party is a testament to the fact that people are tired of corruption," Hassan said, targeting the DMK and AIDMK.
