JEE-Advance 3rd July: Relief in the rule of 75% marks in Std

The JEE-Advanced examination for admission in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) will be held on July 3 and the rule of minimum 75 per cent marks in standard 12 has also been relaxed, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said in a statement.

It may be mentioned that in addition to passing JEE-Advance for admission in IITs, a rule was made that a student should have 75% marks in Std. Nishank said in a statement that JEE Advance will be taken by IIT, Kharagpur on July 3.

It may be mentioned that in view of the Koro epidemic, the rule of 75 per cent in Std. 12 was also relaxed last year. This relief will also be given this year.

The Ministry of Education announced last month that the JEE-Main exam for admission in engineering colleges would be held four times a year from 2021. Which will give the students a chance to improve their score.

The first round of JEE-Main exams will be held between February 23 and 26, followed by March, April and May. It is worth mentioning that CBSE is generally Std. The 10th and 12th exams are held in February and March but this time the exams will be held in May due to Corona.
