Srinagar dated 7th January 2021 Thursday

In Jammu and Kashmir, a pregnant woman named Nima Banu was on her way last month and when it was snowing in Chomer, National Rifles personnel carried her on their shoulders and rushed her to the hospital.

A retired Indian Army major, Gaurav Arya, posted a video clip on his social media account saying that the Kashmiri people who stoned security forces and army personnel at one time should remember such incidents.

It so happened that Neema Banu was suffering from labor pains. There was no possibility of finding any vehicle. Neema Banu's father sought the help of National Rifles personnel. Troopers carried the woman on their shoulders to the hospital, saving her in the snow for hours.

Both the woman and her newborn baby are in good health. Its credit goes to the National Rifles. In the video clip posted by Major Gorav Arya, it can be seen that the woman is walking along the bed, digging the ice. Although it is difficult to walk due to heavy snow on the roads, every young man is walking in one and a half feet of snow showing his humanity. The video clip was also shared by a woman journalist and she said that she hopes that Neema Banu's son will not become a stoner on the security forces when he grows up.

However, the woman journalist was trolled by social media users who did not need to write. It is worth remembering that whenever there was a natural calamity like an earthquake or snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army personnel helped the people who were throwing stones at them without any prejudice.
