Indian Railways operates the first hospital train in the history of the world

Indian Railways has once again made history in the world of railways with a remarkable achievement. The world's first hospital train has been built by the railways. It has been named the Life Line Express.

The train has all the facilities of a modern hospital. The Ministry of Railways shared pictures of the train on social media. The Lifeline Express train has been deployed at Badarpur station in Assam. The train has state-of-the-art medical equipment. A team of doctors is also deployed. The train itself has two operation theaters.

In which all the facilities are kept with five operating tables. The train has free treatment for patients. It is to be mentioned that even during the Corona period, some arrangements have been made by the railways for the safety of the passengers, including facilities including automatic vending machines at the railway station.
