Govt orders silence on Corona virus, reveals Chinese doctors in sting operation

Beijing, dated 20 January 2021, Wednesday

Doctors in the Chinese city of Wuhan were aware of the dangers of the coronavirus, which is wreaking havoc around the world, but a documentary has revealed that the government has urged them to keep their mouths shut.

According to British media reports, some doctors in Wuhan admitted during the sting operation that the virus had started spreading in Wuhan city in China in December 2019 and there was no doubt that the virus could be transmitted from person to person. However, China has not informed anyone about the issue, as the government has told doctors to remain silent.

"We were told not to say anything," said a doctor on camera.

Experts believe that if China had already been transparent on the issue, the virus could have been stopped at the outset. The world would have been aware of it too soon and steps could have been taken to stop the virus.
