New Delhi, 24 January 2021, Sunday
Farmers protesting against the central government's agriculture law have decided to hold a huge tractor rally on January 26.
The rally has been dubbed as 'Tiranga Yatra'. While the central government and Delhi Police are making efforts to prevent farmers from holding the rally, Indian Farmers 'Union president Naresh Tikait has made it clear that the farmers' tricolor yatra will be held on the Delhi-bound highway.
He also said that the central government has made the law without any experience but the leaders in the government have no knowledge about agriculture. Due to which the government is facing opposition from farmers across the country today. We don't want to go inside Delhi for the Tricolor Yatra. Farmers are currently preparing for the Tricolor Rally. Millions of tractors are coming to join the Rally.
"Whatever the weather may be on January 26, the Pum Tiranga Yatra will be launched. We want a peaceful rally so that there is no blemish. Because we have always spoken in the national interest," Tikait said.
