West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee has made a sensational announcement in a Ayodhya mahant that he will give a reward of Rs 5 crore to anyone who beheads him.

Kalyan Banerjee's tongue slipped when he spoke about the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh and he made a rude remark about Sitamata, the storyteller of Ramayana. Most of the monks living in Ayodhya were offended by his knock.

Mahant Paramahansa Das of one such saintly ascetic camp on Tuesday demanded the imposition of Rasuka on Kalyan Banerjee and announced a reward of Rs five crore on his head if Rasuka could not be applied. "I will give a reward of Rs 5 crore to anyone who raises Kalyan Banerjee's head," Mahant said.

Kalyan Banerjee really wanted to say that the state government of Uttar Pradesh has failed to maintain law and order. But his tongue was slipping and he was talking nonsense about Sitamata. The monks of Ayodhya were outraged after the video clip of the knock went viral on social media. Some of the monks were satisfied with the verbal criticism of Banerjee's knock. But the mahant of the ascetic camp, Paramahansadas, was not so satisfied. He demanded the imposition of Rasuka on Kalyan Banerjee and vowed to cut off Banerjee's head if it was not possible to do so. A bounty of Rs 5 crore was also announced by the abbot.

This saint started fasting till death for the construction of Ram temple. He also hinted that if action is not taken against Kalyan Banerjee, the saints will have to take up arms. He alleged that deities were being insulted for cheap politics. Saints will not tolerate such behavior. He also said that such statements should be banned immediately.
