On the other hand, the Supreme Court had constituted a four-member committee to hear the views of the farmers, one of which is a farmer leader and the other three are agricultural experts. However, rumors were circulating that all four members of the committee were in favor of the new agricultural law, so the farmers did not take the committee seriously.

The farmers announced on Tuesday that they were ready to extend the agitation till Holi if needed. Our only demand is to repeal the new agricultural laws. One group believes that farmers should listen to the committee set up by the Supreme Court. By ignoring the Supreme Court, farmers will be like hitting an ax on their own feet.
