Outgoing US President Donald Trump gave China one more shock. The United States has banned eight apps used for commercial transactions.

Eight such software apps also included WeChat Pay and Alipe of Jack Mana Ant Group. The order banning the eight apps was signed by Donald Trump on Tuesday. All these apps belong to Chinese companies. Trump alleged that users' data was reaching China through these apps. This is how China was spying through these apps.

This order will be executed after 45 days. Before that, however, Trump would have vacated the White House. Trump did not consider any discussions with the Biden administration group before signing the order.

A government official said the eight apps that were banned had a maximum of eight downloads. That is, if Trump's allegations were true, millions of user data would have been leaked to China.

Earlier, the Trump administration banned China's BitDance video app TikTalk. However, a U.S. court has ruled that the ban is illegal. It may be recalled here that before the US, the Indian government had banned 224 Chinese apps which was welcomed by the US and US senators.

However, it is possible that the outgoing president's order will be challenged by a user in court and the court will either revoke the order or change or revoke it after Biden comes to power.
