Solicitor General Chetan Sharma presented the government's statement to the Delhi government. A lawyer had filed a complaint in the High Court over WhatsApp's new privacy policy, the Center said in a statement.
During the hearing, Chetan Sharma said that denying Indian users the option to share data with other Facebook companies was a form of intimidation. Accept or not serve. The government said it had sought a response from WhatsApp. The court has extended the hearing of the case till March one.
