Now the central government has told the Delhi High Court that WhatsApp has developed a separate privacy policy for European and Indian users, which is a matter of concern for us. The central government said that the unilateral change in the privacy policy for Indian users by WhatsApp was also a matter of concern. Solicitor General Chetan Sharma presented the government's statement to the Delhi government. A lawyer had filed a complaint in the High Court over WhatsApp's new privacy policy, the Center said in a statement.

During the hearing, Chetan Sharma said that denying Indian users the option to share data with other Facebook companies was a form of intimidation. Accept or not serve. There is talk of forcing the user through WhatsApp. Which may endanger notification and privacy. The government said it had sought a response from WhatsApp. The court has extended the hearing of the case till March one.
