Calcutta, Ta. Monday 18 January 2021

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has announced that she will contest the Assembly elections from Nandigram this year. Mamata Banerjee's announcement is being interpreted in light of the ongoing political battle between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Trinamool Congress. Earlier, Mamata Banerjee was contesting from Bhawanipur.

West Bengal is set to hold assembly elections this year and the political battle continues. On Monday, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee held an election rally in Nandigram, where the Bharatiya Janata Party was her target.

This was announced by Mamata Banerjee at an election rally in Nandigram and she said that she wanted to contest from here this time. Mamata appealed to the chairperson of the state unit on stage and the decision was taken immediately. Mamata Banerjee said that this time too, a TMC government will be formed in Bengal and the TMC will get more than 200 seats.

Mamata Banerjee also targeted a BJP-affiliated Shubhendu official here from the TMC and asked who started the Nandigram agitation. No one needs to take knowledge on this. Today the farmers are also agitating and the BJP should immediately withdraw the three agricultural laws.

Mamata Banerjee has targeted some TMC leaders who have left the party in recent days and joined the BJP. Mamata Banerjee said that the rupee has been used by the BJP, which is why some people are going to them today.

It may be mentioned that the BJP is constantly interfering in the TMC. Shubhendu Adhikari also comes from this area.
