Ayodhya: The foundation stone of a new mosque was laid after flag waving

The foundation stone of a new mosque was laid today in Dhannipur village, 25 km away from the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya, after flag waving on Republic Day. Members of the Sunni Wakf Central Board also did plantations after that.

The mosque is being built by the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation. Five acres of land has been allotted for the mosque and soil testing has also been done before the construction of the mosque. The report will come in 15 days.

After that the map of the mosque will be passed to the Ayodhya Development Authority. However, the construction of a mosque as well as a hospital in the complex has already been announced. There will also be a library and community kitchen.

In addition to ruling on the Ram temple, the apex court also directed the UP government to allot five acres of land for the mosque. Accordingly, the UP government has allotted land for the mosque.
