83 policemen injured during tractor rally: Delhi Police

Violence during a farmers' tractor parade in the capital Delhi on Tuesday has become a topic of discussion across the country. At that time, Delhi Police said that 83 Delhi Police personnel were injured in the violence. All the injured are being admitted to hospitals. Doctors at LNJP Hospital said the 11 jawans who were brought in earlier had injuries at different places on the body. Out of which 2 policemen were hit on the head with sticks. Both the jawans have been admitted to the emergency ward.

આ પહેલા પોલીસે કહ્યું હતું કે અમારા જવાનોએ ખેડૂતો રેલીની શરતોનું પાલન કરે તે માટે પુરતા પ્રયાસો કર્યા, પરંતુ પ્રદર્શનકારીઓએ નિર્ધારિત સમયથી પહેલા જ પોતાની પરેડ શરુ કરી દીધી અને સાર્વજનિક સંપતિને ભારે નુકસાન પહોંચાડ્યું છે.

Alok Kumar, joint commissioner of police, Delhi Police, said tractors tried to crush the policemen. Massive demolition and damage has been done. There have been many violent rallies, all of which will be dealt with legally.

Following these violent scenes, more police forces will now be deployed to protect the country's capital. The Home Ministry has deployed paramilitary forces to protect the capital.
