11 arrested for 'Guru Tegh Bahadur Lane' sticker on 'Aurangzeb Lane' board

Protests have once again erupted over naming Delhi's roads after the brutal and tyrannical Mughal ruler Aurangzeb.

In the Tughlaq Road area of ​​Delhi, some people killed a sticker with Guru Tegh Bahadur Lane written on a sign board with Aurangzeb Lane. The people who hit the sticker came from Haryana. After receiving information about the incident, a police team reached the spot and arrested 11 people.

According to the details received, someone informed the police early on Saturday morning that people had gathered at Aurangzeb Lane in Tughlaq Road area and the police staff reached there after receiving the instruction. Where people gathered under the care of lawyer Anurag Bhargava. He killed a sticker with Guru Tegh Bahadur Lane written on the board inscribed Aurangzeb Lane.

Police say legal action is being taken against all of them. Eleven people have been arrested in the case.
