With one year left before the UP elections, Owaisi has announced its first candidate

UP elections are yet to be held in 2022 and Asaduddin Owaisi's party AIMIM has also announced its first candidate for the Assembly elections.

Owaisi is trying to form an alliance with smaller regional parties in UP, but the party has already announced its candidate before the alliance is announced. A doctor will be fielded from UP's Balrampur district.

Earlier, Owaisi had met Suheldev Samajwadi Party president Om Prakash Rajbhar.

However, by announcing the name of the candidate more than a year before the elections, Asaduddin Owaisi has given an indirect message that his party will fight the elections in UP by using all its strength.
