Pentagon official Kash Patel has filed a પાંચ 50 million defamation suit against CNN

Kash Patel, the highest-ranking Gujarati-origin official at the Pentagon, has filed a પાંચ 50 million defamation suit against TV channel CNN and some of its top journalists for publishing false and defamatory reports against him.

Patel, the current chief of staff to interim Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller, filed a lawsuit against CNN and its reporters in a Virginia court on Friday, Fox News reported.

Patel, who had served in the White House before leaving the Pentagon, had alleged in his case that CNN had filed a series of defamation and false reports against him between November 24 and December 4.

For Patel, who has been a top aide to California Republican Rep. Devin Nunes, CNN Patel published totally baseless articles like the pro-Trump conspiracy theorist.

His attorney said, "The reports he published were defamatory and discriminatory against Patel as well as with a spirit of revenge. All those reports were part of a larger conspiracy to discredit Kash Patel in 2018 and so far."

There were malicious articles promoting baseless left politics'. Asked by CNN about the case, he declined to comment. Kash Patel from New York is from Gujarat. His parents came from East Africa. His mother was from Tanzania and his father was from Uganda. He came to America from Canada in 1970.
