Modi government ministers say MSP and APMC will remain the same, politics is done in the name of naive farmers

New Delhi, 8 December 2020, Tuesday

Despite the announcement of India Bandh by farmers in protest of the Agriculture Act, the ministers of the Modi government today leveled allegations against the opposition parties, justifying the government's law.

Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the political parties supporting the declaration of India Bandh in the name of farmers were hypocrites. I want the farmers to get the benefit of MSP in the same way as before.

On the other hand, Agriculture Minister Narendrasinh Tomar said that separatist forces were behind the agitation and they were spreading illusions. Farmers should beware of such people. The new law would bring prosperity to farmers. It will continue. Farmers will be able to sell their crops anywhere they want. The new law in the country will increase investment in the cold storage and food processing industry. Farmers will be able to store their crops.

Meanwhile, Union Minority Welfare Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that the two-pronged approach of the political parties has been exposed.
