Manipur: Home Minister Amit Shah visited Kamakhya and laid the foundation stone of some schemes.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting Imphal, the capital of Manipur, on Sunday. He was received at the airport by Chief Minister N Biren Singh and Union Minister Jitendra Singh. Amit Shah then addressed the Manipur Vikas Yatra. During this time he inaugurated several development projects.

"We have not seen any closure in the last three years," he said. In six years, almost all the armed groups retreated one by one. This is Prime Minister Modi's vision.

The state has not closed in the last three years

Addressing a rally in Imphal, Amit Shah said, "In the past, Manipur regularly faced shortage of essential items due to obstructions but in the last three years, we have not seen any closure." I would like to pay my respects to Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh as he has given a new identity to the state.

The Northeast is known for separatism and violence but in the last 6 years almost all armed groups have retreated. Violence is destroyed. I hope the rest of the armed group stays away from violence and becomes mainstream. NE India, which was considered as an agency hotbed 6 years ago, has now become the hotbed of this development. This is the result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plan and vision.

Amit Shah said that PM Modi had taken several measures to ensure peace and development in the North East. 644 cadres of 8 extremist groups surrendered with more than 2,500 weapons and joined the mainstream. For a long time Congress ruled the Northeast, but did nothing. He has not spoken to extremist groups. People were dying and development is zero. In the name of development, he not only worshiped the land, but we inaugurated many projects.

Modiji will give Inner Line Permit to the natives of Manipur

Amit Shah said, "I am proud to say that Prime Minister Modi has worked for the development of Northeast India within the last six years." Manipurwala forgot to ask for Inner Line Permit for the natives. In the year 2019, PM Modi decided that by not giving the inner line permit to Manipur, it is unfair to him and he has worked to give the permit without asking. There is peace in the entire Northeast and PM Modi has solved many problems so that the Northeast can move at the same pace of development.

Visited Kamakhya temple in Assam

Earlier, the home minister along with Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Health Minister Hemant Biswa Sharma visited the Kamakhya temple in Guwahati on Sunday. His arrival in Assam had heated up politics.
