Madhya Pradesh also approves anti-love jihad proposal, proposal in the name of Freedom of Religion Bill 2020 approved


- There are a total of 19 provisions and imprisonment will be two to ten years if convicted

The BJP government in Madhya Pradesh, like Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, enacted anti-love jihad laws.

There have been reports in recent times that some Muslim youths have been trying to seduce Hindu girls by removing their beards and changing their attire, forcing them to convert to Islam.

Yogi Adityanath's government in Uttar Pradesh was the first to pass an anti-love jihad law after a police complaint of some such incidents and a ho ha in the media. Following Uttar Pradesh, the Himachal Pradesh government had enacted a similar law last week. Now the government of Shivraj Singh Chauhan of Madhya Pradesh had enacted such a law

On Friday, the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet approved the 'Freedom of Religion Bill 2020'. The bill has a total of 19 articles. If there is a police complaint from the victim's family, the police will be able to take action independently. According to the law, if a person is found to have married a minor, a BC-OBC girl by seducing her or concealing her true identity, the accused will be sentenced to imprisonment ranging from two years to ten years.

If a person marries in the lure of wealth by hiding his religion, it will also be considered a punishable offense and the marriage will be considered a folk. The concerned youth will be punished on the charge of fraud.

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra claimed that we have enacted the largest and most effective law in the country. The Madhya Pradesh Assembly session will begin on December 28. The bill will be approved and then it will become law. This law will come into force soon. The police were given complete independence.
