Lawyer Mahmood Prachi's office raided, police conduct 15-hour probe

-Afidavit in the name of the deceased lawyer

New Delhi Dated 25th December 2020 Friday

The Special Branch of Delhi Police raided the office of a legislator in the capital New Delhi and investigated for fifteen hours.

The legislator, Mahmood Pracha, was alleged to have affidavited with the bogus signature of a deceased lawyer and incited the victims of the violent riots in Delhi in February this year to make false statements.

Pracha alleged after the raid that the mastermind of the violence would have been caught if the video clip of the Delhi violence had not been destroyed by the Delhi Police. Those people checked into my office for fifteen hours. Even checked the bathroom. Nothing was found so my colleagues were beaten, slapped and the police went back.

The raids were carried out by Delhi Police on a court order.

Pracha made the allegation on Twitter and further wrote that I was threatened in the name of Home Minister Amit Shah. I am grateful to those who stood by me.
