Laws must be taken back: Farmers' clarification before today's talks with the government

Negotiations are set to resume on Wednesday between farmers and the government, who have opposed agricultural legislation after a 20-day hiatus. On Wednesday the 30th, the government had invited talks which the farmers have accepted. At the same time, the farmers have declared that they are ready for talks but will not back down even an inch from our demands for repeal of the law.

Before the start of the 30th sixth round of talks between farmers and the government, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Piyush Goyal met senior BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah. The meeting is reported to have discussed the government's final decision.

The two ministers are in talks with farmers on behalf of the government. The agitating farmers' organizations, on the other hand, had said a day before the talks that they would only move forward if their basic demands were the main agenda in the talks.

The farmers have made four main demands including repeal of the law, legal provision on support prices, burning of straw and amendment of electricity law. Earlier, the fifth round of talks between the farmers and the government was held on the 5th, after which they were scheduled to meet on the 9th, but the farmers refused to talk.

On the other hand, after providing toilet-like facilities to agitating farmers in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi is now going to start free WiFi as well. AAP leader Raghav Chadda said a free WiFi hotspot would be set up at Delhi's Indus border to provide free internet to farmers. The move is aimed at enabling farmers to communicate with their families.

On the other hand, a large number of protests have now started in other states as well. In Patna, Bihar, a large rally was held in protest of the agricultural law, in which thousands of farmers gathered.

There was a heavy police baton charge on agitating farmers which were many wounded. Who were hospitalized for treatment. On the other hand, there are reports that the farmers were later outraged by the police baton charge and chased away the police who had come to charge the baton.

A huge rally was held till Raj Bhavan in Patna, which was stopped by the police from entering the VIP area and the case of lathi charging was turned into violence.
