Lahore is the second most polluted city in the world, followed by Delhi

(PTI) Lahore, Ta. Monday, November 30, 2020

The Pakistani city of Lahore has been declared the most polluted city in the world. U.S. The Air Quality Index figures were released on Monday. Accordingly, Lahore's Air Quality Index (AQI) was 301.

If a city's AQI is more than 50, its air is not considered clean. Lahore has become a city with extremely dangerous air. Earlier, Lahore was declared the most polluted city in the world.

AQI is prepared on the basis of various criteria, the most important of which is the proportion of particulate matter (PM) in the air. PM is a particle that is polluted and damaged by inhalation. The purity of air is determined by the number of particles of PM per million particles of air. In terms of index, Delhi's AQI is 182, while Afghanistan's Kabul is third with 174 AQI.

In addition to AQI, PM is also calculated in air pollution. For example, air pollution is determined by how many PMs there are in a million particles. The PM was 229 in Delhi and 178 in Kathmandu.

The air in Ahmedabad is very polluted

According to the World Air Pollution website, the pollution level in Ahmedabad was recorded at 180 on Monday evening. In other websites, the proportion was as high as 200. The whole of Ahmedabad does not have such polluted air, yet Ahmedabad is one of the most polluted cities in India.
