Joe Biden created Vivek Murthy of Indian descent as Surgeon General of the United States

Indian-Americans are taking on important responsibilities in the government of newly elected President Joe Biden.

Now Joe Biden has handed over the important responsibility of Surgeon General to Vivek Murthy, an American of Indian descent, in his government. The role of Vivek Murthy will be crucial in the fight against Corona.

He took over as surgeon general in the Obama administration in 2014. He remained as surgeon general until 2017. However, he left that position in the Trump administration after that. However, he returned to Biden's team.

Corona's transition is widespread in the United States at a time when Biden's focus is on controlling Corona once he takes power.

There have been 14.6 million cases of corona in the United States so far and 2.82 million people have lost their lives due to corona. Biden has also appealed to people to wear masks.
