In Goa district panchayat, BJP won 32 out of 49 seats

After Hyderabad and Rajasthan, now the BJP has won a resounding victory in the Goa district panchayat elections. BJP won 32 out of 49 Goa district panchayat seats. Congress got four seats in cash.

Goa had a total of fifty seats in 48 district panchayats. One seat candidate was killed and 49 seats were up for grabs. Voting took place here on December 12 and the results were announced on Tuesday, December 14.

The BJP won 32 of the 49 seats, seven were won by independents, four by the Congress and three by the MGP. Both Rakampa and AAP got one seat each. For some time now, AAP's Arvind Kejriwal has been trying to make his mark in every state. But after a lot of efforts in Goa, you got a seat for the first time.

With the intention of winning some assembly elections in 2022, Arvind Kejriwal was trying to make inroads in every state.

The Goa Legislative Assembly has 40 seats. Incumbent Chief Minister Pramod Sawant expressed happiness over the BJP's victory. Goa BJP president Sadanand Seth Tanwade expressed confidence that the results would be like a rehearsal for the 2022 assembly elections.
