If the agitators are Khalistani-Pakistani then why are you negotiating: P Chidambaram

- Negotiate only if there are farmers, do not leave

New Delhi, 14 December 2020, Monday

Former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram, while questioning the Modi government, said that Modi government ministers consider the agitating farmers as Khalistani and Pakistani. If that is the case then what is the use of negotiating with the agitators.

Two or three days ago, Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal and Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar alleged at a press conference that some Khalistani and Pakistani forces had infiltrated thousands of farmers who had been protesting for the last 18-19 days and camped on the Delhi border. P Chidambaram was speaking in this regard. "If there are anti-social or anti-national elements in the agitators, why do you negotiate with them?" Only talk to farmers.

Piyush Goyal also told the media that some Naxalites and leftists were agitating in the name of farmers. Goyal wrote on Twitter that the people of the country are watching who is doing what in the name of farmers. People understand the truth. People will be taking note of all this. Chidambaram also questioned that.

The other two Union Ministers, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Raosaheb Danve, also said that the agitation was no longer for the farmers. He said some political parties were baking their own bread in the name of farmers. Chidambaram asked why you negotiate with such factors.
