High Court notice to Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat


-Not notice to 17 in Sanjeev's credit society scam

-Millions of rupees of embezzlement scam took place

The Rajasthan High Court had issued notices to 17 people, including the Union government, including Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in the multi-crore Sanjeev Credit Co-operative Society scam.

The details of this case are something like this. Sanjeev's Co-operative Society was formed in 2008 under the Rajasthan Society Act. Prior to that, Vikram Singh was the Managing Director. The 17 people to whom the High Court has issued notices include Vikram Singh.

In 2010 the society was transformed into a multi state society. Thousands of people have invested in bogus posters and propaganda. The scam was worth about Rs 900 crore. Those who had invested capital did not get back interest or dividend or even the original amount. A complaint was lodged in the Rajasthan High Court. The case was heard before the Jodhpur Divisional Bench of the Rajasthan High Court. The High Court had also sent a notice to the Central Government.

Managing Director Vikram Singh is said to be behind the scam. He was also arrested by the police.
